Biography

Experience

I have been teaching for over 20 years in all grade levels. I have aided in Preschool and have taught in all grades (1-8) at one time or another. My longest Call was with St. John Lutheran School in Champaign, Illinois where I taught 2nd and 4th grades. I was there for 12 years, and this is where I met my husband, Philip. This is where we started our family. I did take a break for a while to raise my children and help my husband begin his chiropractic practice. Although I was out of the classroom in a regular, full time capacity; I did teach part time. I taught a couple of years full time to fill in when there was a need and substituted from time to time where my children attended school and other Lutheran schools (including Immanuel). It has always been a joy to teach in a Lutheran School where I can share the love of Jesus with the children and their families every day.
